Director of Pensions Administration Business

This is an Executive Director position responsible for the growth and sustainability of a quality Pensions Administration business. LPP is looking for the role holder to develop and maintain the LPP reputation as a service provider of choice, be instrumental in developing positive external strategic relationships & partnerships within the public sector pension's arena, with the potential to be an expert partner to private sector funds and demonstrating value for money for all partner funds.

This is a role supporting the Operations Manager; Leading a team of up to 15 Pensions administrators, providing an efficient and robust administration service to Local Government clients and members in respect of various pension schemes administered by the Local Pensions Partnership, including performance management of the team and supporting the learning and development needs of the Team.

Management Accountant (London)

Working as a member of the LPP Finance team in delivering high quality, efficient finance and accountancy service to the organisation and its customers. The role encompasses data analysis, financial reconciliations, management reporting whilst working in close collaboration with the Management Reporting and Financial control teams. Support Head of Management Reporting and Head of Financial Planning and Analysis in delivery of accurate and robust information for various stakeholders within deadlines.

Pensions Customer Access Advisor (Preston, Lancashire)

You will be responsible for providing the highest standard of customer service utilising self-service, telephony, email and face to face contact. The role is predominantly focussed on answering pensions queries via a call centre and email facility in respect of the public sector pension schemes administered by LPP.  This is a fixed term contract until September 2019.

Assist in the development, implementation and management of the agreed Portfolio and particularly the internally managed Private Markets - Infrastructure Portfolio. Build and stress test, appropriate internal financial models to monitor performance and prepare appropriate corresponding management reports to facilitate decision making forums. We are seeking an analyst to assist in the development, implementation and management of the agreed Portfolio and particularly the internally managed Credit Portfolio. Build knowledge and capability across the investments function in order to support the wider team in the monitoring of external Credit investment mandates in addition to carrying out other investment administration activities as directed for Executive Committee, Investment Committee and Board meetings. Take responsibility for internal processes and procedures in relation to investment monitoring, including: Ensuring manager monitoring meetings are scheduled, attended and written up; building and stress testing appropriate internal financial models to monitor performance; and preparing appropriate management reports to facilitate performance monitoring and decision making forums.

Support the Head of Financial Reporting on financial accounting matters, including financial statements for LPP Group. Ensure that robust and thorough financial reporting is in place and that the annual accounts for all designated LPP Group entities are closed with a clean opinion. Assist on taxation and pension fund accounting matters where necessary.

Tax Reporting Manager

This role acts as a key point of liaison for tax in relation to the company and Investment Funds. Provide a lead on Tax advice on new business development and engagement with external advisors. Provide tax advice that complies with current legislation while optimising the tax recovery and minimising and any tax liability for all LPP group entities and clients. Prepare all tax reporting and deal with all Tax accounting matters that arise as part of reporting and ensure alignment with reporting standards.
