Finance Team Administrator

Support the production of quality output of the finance processes on the finance team which include FRS17 valuations, annual contributions data processing and quarterly reconciliation, and receipt of monthly payments of contribution income for Fund employers and agency clients. This work will predominantly deal with Hertfordshire CC clients, but may also cover other LPP client funds.

Equity Analyst (London)

Assist in the development, implementation and management of the agreed liquid investments portfolio and particularly the internally managed equity portfolio.   Build and stress test, appropriate internal financial models to monitor performance and prepare appropriate corresponding management reports to facilitate decision making forums.  Build knowledge and capability across the investments function in order to support the wider team in the monitoring of external equity investment mandates in addition to carrying out other investment administration activities as directed for Corporate Management Team, Investment Committee and Board meetings.

We are seeking a GMP pensions administrator to provide dedicated administration support to the Special Projects Team in the completion of the GMP reconciliation project for in house and client funded LGPS GMP Projects. The role will involve reviewing and analysing pension data and carrying our pension calculations and revisions to update member records, communicating directly with members both verbally and in writing and reporting back to the project sponsor on progress.

LPP is looking to recruit an Analyst to join its growing Total Return team. LPP’s Total Return allocation seeks to generate liquid returns independent of equities through allocation to diversifying strategies, the majority of which are overseen by third party investment managers. Strategies are implemented across asset classes to exploit relative value and directional opportunities, alongside alternative asset class exposures like property catastrophe insurance.

This role acts as a key point of liaison for tax in relation to the company and Investment Funds. Provide a lead on Tax advice on new business development and engagement with external advisors. Provide tax advice that complies with current legislation while optimising the tax recovery and minimising and any tax liability for all LPP group entities and clients. Prepare all tax reporting and deal with all Tax accounting matters that arise as part of reporting and ensure alignment with reporting standards.
