Following the launch of The Good Economy white paper on 08 September 2025, we were pleased to share some of our local investment case studies featured in the report - demonstrating the real impact of place-based investing in communities across the UK.
This paper offers practical guidance on how institutional investors can align financial returns with local economic resilience, consistent development, and inclusive growth. Our team, who have been working with our Partner Funds on their local portfolios for many years, are proud to support the development of case studies that showcase how tailored investment sleeves can reflect their unique needs.
We’re excited to see this work spark further dialogue and action across the sector.
The paper highlights LPPI’s role in collaborating with our Partner Funds in the management of their local investment portfolios. (see page 14 of the white paper)
It also shines a light upon GLIL Infrastructure, a cross-pool fund that has successfully channelled pension capital into UK infrastructure, as a model for collaborative investment at the local and national level.
LPPI’s broader approach to local investment, including its focus on origination, due diligence and ESG reporting, reinforces its commitment to supporting communities while meeting long-term financial objectives.
